Built only for auctions.
The whole thing.

Every specialist house we talk to is running on a patchwork. Cataloguing in one tool, invoicing in another, settlements in a spreadsheet, stock in someone's head. Sablot is the version where it's in one place: the description, the invoice, the settlement and the unsold lot all come off the same record.

Today

Cataloguing in one tool. Invoicing in another. Settlements in a spreadsheet. Stock in someone's head.

With Sablot

One system, one login. A consignor record that follows the lot from intake to settlement. Built for auctions, not bent out of a generic CRM.

Today

A third of lots passed on Friday. Most won't be re-offered properly. The bidders who almost bought them have gone by Monday.

With Sablot

Every unsold lot becomes inventory with one click. Every underbidder captured. Re-offer them, or sell privately. 5 to 15% of auction revenue lives here.

Today

Cataloguing eats your specialist's week. Each lot description is a slow, manual write-up. The longer it takes to publish, the less time you have to market the sale.

With Sablot

Sablot writes the description for you, in your house style, from the lot image and your field data. About 60 seconds a lot, then you read it and press save.

Today

The bidders who fought for Lot 14 belong to the marketplace. Year after year, your house gets less of the relationship.

With Sablot

Every results import adds winners and underbidders to your buyer book. Addresses, platform of origin, bid history. An asset that compounds.

Automatic house-style descriptions

Your house style, written for you,
in about a minute.

Fill in the lot fields and upload the main image. Click ✦ Draft. Sablot writes a publish-ready description in your house's own style: the structure, tone and cataloguing conventions your buyers already know, set up with you at onboarding.

It reads the image and your field data. It will not invent provenance, citations or dimensions; anything it cannot verify is flagged as a point to check, above the description, never inside it.

Results, invoicing, settlements

The post-auction workflow,
done in one place.

Drop in the results file from any supported auction platform. Lots auto-match to buyers. Premium and VAT calculate. Branded PDF invoices go out by email, with payment instructions and an optional card payment link.

Per-consignor settlement records calculate commission, charges and net payable for you. Branded PDF statement. One settlement per closed auction, full audit trail.

Supported platforms: Invaluable, LiveAuctioneers, The Saleroom. Whatever else you use, we add it on Tailored.

Stock and aftersales
📈5 to 15% of auction income

The lots that didn't sell are
inventory you haven't sold yet.

Every passed lot moves into stock with one click. The image, description, consignor and history travel with it. The bidders who almost bought it are captured at the same time.

Re-offer the lot in the next sale, or pursue a private treaty offer directly to the underbidder. This is where aftersales income lives, and the workflow most systems skip.

Reports

The numbers your accountant
asks for, in one click.

Every report is a live table. Filter by date, sale, category or consignor. Group by category, consignor or month. Then export exactly that view as CSV or a branded PDF. Auction turnover, receivables and ageing, stock movement, consignor performance, plus the standard PDF set: earnings, balance sheet, cashflow forecast, stock ageing, trade stock P&L, profit by consignor.

As part of Professional onboarding, we tailor the report set to your business: your VAT scheme, your settlement cadence, your reporting calendar.

Your buyer book

Every sale grows
your buyer database.

When you import results, Sablot doesn't just record winners. It captures every registered bidder who didn't win. Email, address, country, AML risk class, full purchase history.

Year one, you have a list of qualified specialist buyers. Year two, it's a marketing asset. You own the relationship, not the marketplace.

Frequently asked questions.

Invaluable, LiveAuctioneers and The Saleroom work out of the box. If a platform you use isn't already supported, we add it as part of Tailored onboarding. Sablot auto-matches lots to buyers, calculates premium and VAT, and produces invoices ready to send.
Most houses are live within a week. We configure the workspace, import your buyer and consignor lists, set up your branded subdomain (yourhouse.sablot.app), and walk your team through the system. Hands-on onboarding is included on every plan.
The one-off setup fee (£849 on Foundation, £1,119 on Professional) covers configuring your workspace, importing your buyer and consignor lists and any open stock, your branded subdomain, and training your team. If you're coming from another system we take its export, load it into Sablot and check it against your records before go-live. Very large or unusual migrations are scoped on Tailored, with a fixed quote before we start.
Yes. The screenshots on this page are the live system with demo data. If you'd rather not book a call, email hello@sablot.app with the workflow you care about and we'll send more screens and answer your questions by email first.
Fill in the lot fields (title, period, material, dimensions, provenance), upload the main image and click Draft. Sablot writes a publish-ready description in your house's style, which we set up with you at onboarding from your past catalogues. It will not invent provenance, citations or dimensions; anything it cannot verify is flagged as a point to check, above the description. Standard drafts use 1 credit, house-style drafts 4 credits, at 75p per credit. Available on Professional and Tailored.
After every auction, lots that didn't sell move into Stock with one click. The image, description, consignor and history travel with them. The underbidders are captured at the same time. From there, you can re-offer the lot in the next sale or pursue a private treaty offer directly to an interested bidder. Aftersales is typically 5 to 15% of total auction income, and few systems track it properly.
Every report is a live table: filter by date, sale, category or consignor, group by category, consignor or month, then export that exact view as CSV or branded PDF. Auction turnover, receivables and ageing, stock movement and consignor performance are live tables; the standard PDF set covers auction house earnings, balance sheet by payment method, 90-day cashflow forecast, stock ageing, trade stock P&L and profit by consignor. The report set is tailored to your business as part of Professional onboarding.
Online card payment links can be added to every invoice on Professional and Tailored. Buyers click the link in the emailed PDF, pay by card, and the invoice status updates automatically. Bank transfer details remain on every invoice as the default.
Yes. Sablot runs in Australian dollars as well as sterling: invoices, settlements, reports and your subscription in your currency, with tax rates set for your house at onboarding. Results imports from Invaluable and LiveAuctioneers work the same way. Sablot for Australian and New Zealand houses →
Most former GAP Office houses have already moved. Yes. Each house has its own workspace and subdomain, and its data is kept separate from every other house. Encrypted at rest and in transit, backed up daily. A Data Processing Agreement is included as part of onboarding.
