This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you request a demo or use our platform, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and company name. For platform users, we also process auction data as entered by you.

How we use it

To provide the Sablot platform, respond to enquiries, and send relevant communications. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Lawful basis

Legitimate interest, contractual necessity, and consent (marketing communications and analytics cookies, withdrawable at any time).

Cookies and analytics

This website uses essential cookies, and — only with your consent — two analytics tools:

• Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session analytics (scrolling and clicking behaviour), used to improve the site.
• Google conversion measurement — records when a demo booking or enquiry happens after a visit from a Google advert, so we know our advertising works. Ad personalisation is not enabled.

If you choose "Essential only", neither tool sets cookies; Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals (Consent Mode). You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the site footer. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data storage

All data is hosted in the UK on secure, GDPR-compliant infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Each platform client has a single-tenant database, isolated from every other client.

Your rights

Access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object. Contact hello@sablot.app to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Terms of Service

Sablot is provided by Vela Technology Ltd on a subscription basis. Full terms are provided as part of the client agreement upon onboarding.

Data Processing

For subscribers, Vela Technology Ltd acts as Data Processor. You remain Data Controller for all data entered into the platform. A Data Processing Agreement is included in the onboarding agreement.
